Originally the W.F. McNally Co., McNally-Nimergood was founded in 1946 by the late William (“Bill”) F. McNally. Under the leadership and direction of Bill McNally, the W.F. McNally Co quickly became a leading Michigan road building contractor.

Through the 1940s, the W.F. McNally Co. constructed hundreds of miles of roads throughout Michigan.

In 1954, Bill McNally partnered with Robert Nimergood to establish McNally-Nimergood Co., expanding beyond road building and into crane leasing and rentals. Shortly thereafter, the central business focus shifted away from road building and concrete work to exclusively heavy-haul and heavy lifting throughout the entire Midwest. Now, more than 70 years since its founding, McNally-Nimergood has grown into one of Michigan’s leading providers of crane rental, lift and rigging, and heavy haul services.

In 2012, Jeff McNally became President and CEO of McNally-Nimergood Co. following the death of his father, Bill.

This second-generation owner brings nearly 45 years of solutions-oriented experience to McNally-Nimergood.

The management team of McNally-Nimergood is proud to be a family-owned-and-operated business, with many employees who have been a part of our work family for multiple decades.

McNally-Nimergood boasts a crane rental fleet of boom trucks, rough terrain cranes, truck cranes, crawler cranes, and hydraulic all-terrain cranes from 23 to 900 ton capacity, as well as a fleet of standard and specialized trailers to handle all of your hauling needs.
